Woodrow V. Garner 89, of Greencastle, Indiana passed away Wednesday March 10, 2010 at his home.
Mr. Garner served in the U.S. Army during W.W.II. He was an auditor for Kroger for 27 years, retiring in 1981 and is a member of the Church of Christ in Danville.
Survivors include his son, Joe (Janie) Garner of Greencastle; daughter, Virginia (Ralph) Hoffmann of Indianapolis; five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in deat by his wife, Mable (Luttrell) Garner; five brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday March 15, 2010 at Conkle Funeral Home, Avon Chapel, with Mike Turner officiating. Calling will be at the funeral home from 2 to 6 p.m., Sunday, March 14. Entombment will be at West Ridge Park Cemetery.
