Lisa Lynn Folger Of Indianapolis, Indiana 31, passed away on Tuesday January 26, 2010.

She is survived by her mother, Sharon Folger; her father, James Hildebrand; her step-father, Robert Engle; her sisters, Robyn Folger and Carrie Engle; her brother, Gene Engle; her grandparents, Rick Folger and Nancy, many aunts, uncles, cousins and her closest friends, John, Michael, and John. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Julia Newhart and Frances Hildebrand.

Lisa was born November 16, 1978 and was a graduate of Pike High School, where she participated in band. She was fluent in Spanish and studied in Mexico through the Honors Abroad program. She received a degree in Political Science and Economics from Indiana University. A lifetime bowler, Lisa was on the Western Bowl traveling team. With her sister Robyn, Lisa set the Indiana record for womens' doubles during the 1982 White River Park State Games. Lisa was employed as a manager at Einstein's Bagels, where she had many friends. Her love for the family dogs, Jordan and Bailey, and her cats, Lucy and Daisy, was only surpassed by her love for her family, friends and life itself. She was an avid reader and loved to cook. Lisa was known for her fondness of penguins and sunflowers, and enjoyed doing things that made her laugh, like watching Family Guy, Married with Children and Three's Company. She shared with her family the joy and frustration of being a Die-Hard Cubs fan.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 31, 2010, at Conkle Funeral Home (317-241-6333), 4925 West 16th Street in Speedway, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Monday. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery in Michigantown, Indiana following the service.

Lisa touched so many lives, many she never realized. She will be so missed by so many people.

Contributions can be made in her memory to the Indianapolis Humane Society.
