Jon Thomas Inman 64, of Avon, passed away Friday, January 29, 2010. He was born January 6, 1946 in Indianapolis, the son of Burl and Helen Inman.
Jon was a 1969 graduate of Purdue University, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He retired from Indianapolis Power & Light after 30 years of service. Jon was a member of the Scottish Rite and Lynhurst Freemasons Lodge 723.
Jon is survived by his partner in life Anne Inman, her parents Harold and Edith Bush, son Shaun and wife Jill, granddaughter Alexa, sisters Beverly Cooper and Carolyn Wiggins as well as other extended family.
Funeral services will be held at Conkle Funeral Home in Avon at 76 N. State Road 267, with calling from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2010. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. and burial will follow at West Ridge Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
