Helaina Rose Hawkins 12, Indianapolis passed away Tuesday November 3, 2009.
She was a student in the 7th. Grade at Chapel Hill Junior High School where she was involved in the excel program. Helaina played basketball, band and loved folk dance.
She is survived by her mother, Nicole Ann Hawkins; Father, Roger William Hawkins; sister, Bethie Jo Hawkins; brother, Evan Backstrom; sister, Kaylee Backstrom; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Wright and Beth Wright; great grandmother, Rosemary Hammond; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Helen Mary and Thomas Jefferson Hawkins.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday November 6, 2009 at Chapel Rock Christian Church with a memorial service at 6 p.m.
