Dorothy "Dottie" J. Reed Underwood 67, Indianapolis, Indiana died Tuesday November 3, 2009. She was born August 18, 1942 in Indianapolis the daughter of Howard and Katy Reed.
She was the owner of Reed Drapery Service. Mrs. Underwood's father started the business in 1957. She started working with her father at an early age and took over the business after his retirement.
Memorial contributions may be made to Save the Wolves Campaign, by the Defenders of Wildlife or Humane Society.
Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2009 in Conkle Funeral Home, Speedway Chapel, with calling there from 2 p.m. until the time of service.
Survivors include husband, J.D. Underwood Jr.; daughter, Marci Underwood McCoy; son, Scott Underwood (wife Cara) and grandchildren, Riley McCoy and Finn Underwood.
